First Dance Packages

Located in the heart of London, we have nine studios and a team of more than 60 professional dancers and choreographers with a wealth of experience and teaching in every style to call on.
Two members of our wonderful wedding dance faculty, Oya and Edgars, were recently recognised as one of the UK’s top Wedding professionals in The Wedding Awards 2026 for First Dance Wedding Choreography for the fourth time in four years, making them one of the most recommended professionals by wedding planning couples in the UK.
Even if you are complete beginners, we can teach all styles and welcome your song of choice. We are confident that we can produce choreography that will ensure you enjoy learning your routine and leave you with knowledge that you can bring to other parties for years to come.
Whatever the style, our professional team will help you create an unforgettable experience. All lessons will be held in a private and spacious studio in our beautiful building. You can be confident that we have the experience, skills, and high level of customer service to ensure that your first wedding dance will be everything you hoped for and more.

We provide a unique, customised first dance created with love for you and your partner. You can choose any song, theme, or dance styles. Our professional teachers will create bespoke choreography especially for you, based on your taste and abilities. Whether you want to groove with a simple two-step or tackle a more complex routine, your teacher will ensure you find the confidence to shine on the dance floor together.
Packages include:
- One hour private lessons with a professional teacher
- Choreography to your preferred dance style and song of choice
- Time at our Mayfair studios – working in complete privacy.
Package 1 Fee: £555 for 3 one-hour lessons
Package 2 Fee: £905 for 5 one-hour lessons
Single session Fee: £195*

We can also offer lessons in your home or work place. Price on application.
Location must be within a 10 mile radius of central London. Please make sure you have the relevant space to accommodate the dance.
Dance entertainment experience at your wedding party/reception
Some helpful information to get you started
Your song: Your first dance song should mean something to both of you. Depending on your level of dance experience, a song with a clear, steady beat will make dancing together much easier.
If you are beginners and haven’t danced much before – no problem! Our professional choreographers are here to put you at ease and guide you. Just relax and go with the flow of the music.
What clothes should you wear for lessons?
Anything comfortable to start with but try to wear shoes similar to those you are wearing on the big day.
How far in advance should you start your lessons?
If you are looking for something slow and traditional, like a Waltz, Foxtrot or Rumba, consider booking your lessons a month in advance. If you are doing a unique routine which consists of many different moves, we would recommend booking two months in advance.
Practice Practice Practice
You are more than welcome to film parts of the lesson so you can practice at home. After all, practice makes perfect! Couples find this to be a really bonding experience in the run up to the wedding.
Booking and Cancellation
Due to the high demand for these packages, we cannot add you to our booking system until full payment has been received. We will then add your dates to the Danceworks diary and book your choreographer.
Danceworks is open 7 days a week, private lessons can be booked at our studios on the following days and times:
- Monday – Friday, 9am-10pm
- Saturday – Sunday, 9am-8pm
Our class cancellation policy is strictly 48 hours. No refunds are available but credit can be given if cancelled outside the 48 hours.
