Step into the warmth and magic of Andalucía for an unforgettable Flamenco experience illuminated by candlelight.
Inspired by the enchanting evenings of La Alhambra, the caves of Sacromonte in Granada, the vibrant courtyards of Triana in Seville, and the welcoming atmosphere of a traditional patio andaluz, this special workshop invites you to experience the heart and soul of southern Spain through music, rhythm and dance.
Flamenco teacher Maika Jimenez Blanco will guide you through the beauty, passion and artistry of Flamenco, accompanied live by María de Huelva, an exceptional Andalusian musician, singer and ethnomusicologist from the province of Huelva, Spain.
Together, they will recreate the intimate atmosphere of a traditional Andalusian gathering, where music, rhythm and dance come together in perfect harmony. Through accessible Flamenco movement, rhythm work, palmas (hand clapping), simple choreography and musical interpretation, participants will experience the unique connection between dance and live music at the heart of Flamenco.
Whether you are taking your very first Flamenco steps or have years of dance experience, this welcoming workshop offers a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in the sounds, rhythms and atmosphere of southern Spain in an inspiring candlelit setting.
Join us for an evening of passion, artistry and authentic Spanish culture as we celebrate the spirit of Andalucía through music, song and Flamenco.
