Biography
Zac Clark began dancing at the age of six in his hometown of Armidale, in rural Australia. At 18, he moved to Sydney to pursue his training, opening the door to a wide range of professional opportunities.
Throughout his career, Zac has performed with Sydney Dance Company, Step One Dance Company, RWS Global, Opera Australia, Sydney Choreographic Ensemble, Lancôme Paris, and Amazon Prime. He has recently relocated to London to further his career on the West End.
Alongside performing, Zac has built an extensive teaching career spanning over eight years. He has taught at leading institutions across Sydney, including Sydney Dance Company, Australian Catholic University, the University of New South Wales, the Australian Institute for Performing Arts, and many other studios and organisations. Passionate about developing dancers of all ages and abilities, Zac teaches Ballet, Contemporary, Theatre Jazz, and Lyrical, creating a supportive and engaging environment that inspires artistic confidence and a scene of enjoyment in every class.
Class Description
This class is perfect for complete beginners or anyone with limited ballet experience who wants to build a strong foundation. You will learn the five basic ballet positions of the arms and feet, along with correct posture, alignment, and technique. Classes begin with simple exercises at the barre before progressing to centre work as your confidence grows. Throughout the course, you will develop an understanding of ballet technique and terminology in a supportive environment, helping you build confidence while enjoying the journey of learning this elegant art form.
Theatre Jazz (General)
Theatre Jazz is an energetic and expressive dance style that continues to evolve alongside popular music and entertainment. Inspired by musical theatre, live performances, music videos, and commercial dance, jazz combines dynamic movement, rhythm, and performance skills. Classes focus on improving flexibility, coordination, strength, musicality, and overall fitness while learning fun and engaging choreography. Suitable for all ages and experience levels, this class offers a fantastic full-body workout in a welcoming and supportive environment.
