Biography

Jana is a Dancer, Choreographer & Movement director. She trained professionally in Czech Republic in SMOTART performing arts, Leona Qaša and Dance Academy Prague, Aktiontheatre Panoptikum and Boy Blue. Some of Jana’s credits include FAMU Prague, European tour Face T(W)O, Regent’s Park OpenAir and Movement Magazine issues. She has trained since she was 4 years old, which allows her to understand the growth and specific training needed for different age groups .

Contemporary

Jana’s contemporary blends the foundations and techniques of contemporary dance, flow and floorwork, and physical theatre. Elements of smooth movement and power technique, and how to use them combined. Using detailed musicality to drive the intention behind the movement. You will work on improvisation in a safe environment and learn how to use different parts of your body to initiate and lead a movement, such as exploring how to express through dance.
