Dom Simpson is a hip hop freestyle dancer actively working in the commercial and theatre sectors of the industry, working with artists such as: Ellie Goulding, Calvin Harris, Bbyno$, Mavric Sabre, Sinead Harnett, Joy Crookes and big brands such as Ellesse, Barclays, Churches Shoes & more. He’s practiced hip hop freestyle and street styles for around 8 years, competing, battling and working professionally within the dance industry. Dom has a curiosity for finding new movement within the hip hop style, inspiring him to further his practice, knowledge and improvement. His style is influenced by techniques like threading, popping, tutting, tracing and much more.
This class will be focusing on many different techniques within the hiphop style such as: hiphop foundations, step variations, isolations, musicality, movement quality and much more. Students will gain the knowledge and technique to create their own styles of hiphop, and develop the musicality to move freely & react to music in any environment.
In Dom’s shuffling classes, he teaches the basic steps and movements within the shuffling style. Students should expect a fun high energy class, learning different moves and putting them together in combination. What is learnt can also be applied when going out clubbing, raving & much more.
