Biography
Merveille Ya Mado, also known as Bastos, is a world-renowned dancer and choreographer. With 9 years as the lead choreographer for Fabregas Le Métis Noir, she was named “Best Dancer of Congo” (2019–2020) and continues to inspire as a pioneer of Afro-urban dance, gathering over a million followers across her platforms. Her talent has taken her to prestigious festivals such as the Montreal International Jazz Festival, MURAL Festival, Nuit Blanche, and the OYOFE Afro-urban dance festival in Barcelona. Her workshops—dynamic, educational, and deeply inspiring—attract dancers of all levels to experience the power and joy of Ndombolo.
