Class Description
Salsa on Hip-Hop is a fresh, new dance class that combines the foundations of Salsa and street dance culture with popular music and movements.
This ultimate fun fusion class will have you grooving and stepping in exciting new ways. No partners are needed. Come get down with award-winning dance choreographer/teacher Daniel Seven!
Biography
Daniel Seven is a professional dance choreographer and teacher with over 20 years of experience, sharing his passion for dance across the globe—from New York to Tokyo and everywhere in between—having instructed over 5,000 students along the way.
His journey began as a street dancer, and he later had the privilege of training at one of the top UK dance schools, The Urdang Academy in London, where he studied classical styles such as Ballet and Musical Theatre. Daniel was honored to be the only student granted the William Luther Scholarship. He has also trained with reputable dance companies such as Zoonation and Boy Blue, and at top studios like The Broadway Dance Centre.
Daniel’s dance credits include appearances on X-Factor, BBC, MTV, Sadler’s Wells Theatre, Royal Academy of Dance, World of Dance, The Place, and JML. His past clients include QVC, Bank of China, Benoy, Swatch, and many more. He is also an award-winning choreographer, having taken first place in the XXL UK Street Dance Championships and Best Themed Choreography at World of Dance UK in 2016.
Throughout his career, Daniel has performed, taught, and choreographed for numerous major projects. He specializes in teaching styles such as Hip-hop/Street, Salsa, Wedding Dances, Choreography, Freestyle, Themed Workshops, and Contemporary, and Cultural Dances.
His true passion lies in teaching newcomers to dance, helping them grow and gain the confidence to reach their dance goals while reaping the many health benefits and, most importantly, having fun.
Daniel’s experience ranges from guiding aspiring dancers to social dancing and partner dances. He is dedicated to helping others build confidence and enjoy the process. Don’t hesitate to get in touch; he is here to help!
