Class description
Sarah’s Advanced/Pro Contemporary Dance Class is a release-based class emphasizing center practice ,floor work, improvisation, and choreography. Sarah likes to delve into the construction and deconstruction of movement, fostering control and precision before inviting release and fluidity and adding a few acrobatic elements to the mix. The class creates a space for dancers to explore their individual artistry, pushing the boundaries of their technique while embracing spontaneity and personal expression.
Biography
Sarah, a Miami-born dancer to German parents, grew up in Italy before moving to London in 2018. Following the completion of her undergraduate degree from DAF Dance Arts Faculty in Rome Sarah Graduated with Merit from her MFA in Dance Performance from Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance. She was previously a member of Eliot Smith Dance Company and has performed in works ranging from Big Shaq’s “Man Don’t Dance” to operas at the Royal Opera House. Sarah is currently co-choreographing and dancing in a performance set to premiere at the Edinburgh Fringe in August 2023.
