As Mariah Carey and Michael Buble defrost, Nathaniel Morrison (Director of the west end gospel choir) dusts off his Christmas gospel arrangements ready to pay homage to the Christmas icons and yanks out his favourite Christmas jumper from the back of the wardrobe as he prepares to bring that good, Gospel Christmas cheer to Danceworks!
Nathaniel is very excited and looking forward to getting everyone in that Christmas mood (if not already) as he takes you through jazzed up Christmas hymns and well known Christmas bangers.

Biography
Nathaniel Graduated from Mountview Academy Of Theatre Arts,London with a B.a (Hons) degree, He made his Uk Tour and West End debut as Stevie Wonder in “Dancing in the Streets,”reprising the role numerable times for Flying Music on many National Tours. Other theatre roles include: Jorge in “Tonight’s the Night” (UK Tour), “Porgy and Bess” (Savoy Theatre, London) Napthali (cover Benjamin and Judah) in “Joseph and his Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat” (Adelphi Theatre),”Sister Act” at the London Palladium, Hairspray u/s seaweed (Uk Tour), Jersey Boys (Uk Tour and Piccadilly Theatre) playing the role of Barry Belson, “Five guys named moe,” playing alternate Lil and four eyed moe at The Marble Arch Pop up theatre, “Waitress the musical” at The Adelphi theatre, “Bedknobs and Broomsticks” (Uk Tour), “Playboy of The West Indies” at The Birmingham Repertory theatre, Moulin Rouge at The Piccadilly theatre (u/s Lautrec and Zidler) and most recently Choir of Man (Barman) in Melbourne, Australia at The Arts Centre.
Nathaniel has appeared in several fringe productions such as “You’re a Good Man Charlie Brown” at the Tabard Theatre and “The Hot Mikado” at The Landor Theatre. He enjoys exploring his soulful side and did so in 2012 at Edinburgh’s International Fringe Festival, playing the roles of Ray Charles, James Brown and Cab Calloway in “The Blues Brothers Live” and Sammy Davis Jr. in “The Rat Pack Live” for Hartshorn and Hook. He later reprised the roles at The Lowry Theatre, Manchester, Uk. Concerts include: Supporting Artist for The Late Lynden David Hall at The Drum Arts Centre (Birmingham), Ray Shell’s “The Legend of Jeremiah James Jr” at the Prince of Wales Theatre (Whatsonstage Awards Ceremony), Guest Artist at West End Exposed at The Pigalle Club and Jazz Cafe with Terrence T-Bone Frierson from Sounds Of Blackness, a Divo at Streatham’s infamous music joint “Hideaway” and supporting artist for the infamous Five Star. He has featured in Musical theatre concerts for collaborators Webborn and Finn at The Other Palace and for Anderson and Petty at Zedel’s Crazy Coqs in Piccadilly Circus, London. Nathaniel also performed in The Best Of The West End at The Royal Albert Hall and The Best West End Musicals filmed for the BBC at The London Palladium. To Nathaniel’s surprise, he was plucked from his seat to perform an impromptu duet of “His Eye Is On The Sparrow” at London’s Hippodrome whilst attending Broadway and Netflix Superstar Tituss Burgess’s one man show. He was then encouraged by Tituss to produce and perform his own one man show “Songs in The Key Of Nate” which he has performed at various performance venues in and around central london. Other achievements include: Musical Supervisor for “Walk in The Light Mass Choir” at The National Theatre (Lyttleton) Celebrating 50 Years Of Black Artists in The Performance Industry. He performed at last years 23rd annual Whatsonstage Awards ceremony and alongside Broadway’s Kyle Taylor Parker in Mark Petty’s “West End Sings Whitney” at Crazy Coqs, Piccadilly. Nathaniel is the Proud Founder and Artistic Director of The West End Gospel Choir currently celebrating their 17th Year, he is a musical theatre agent and artistic consultant for Red Talent Management and a proud patron for West End MT. He is grateful to God and his friends and family for their continued support and looks forward to offering his workshop with the lovely people at Danceworks.
